The Project – Facing Challenges Together
One Joint Approach for Europe
Challenges, such as skills deficits, ageing societies
and tough global competition need joint responses and countries learning from one another. The new strategic framework of the Council of the European Union stresses the importance of education and training systems in Europe and the role of the member states in this context. Quality assurance plays a crucial role within these systems.
A large number of results and outcomes dealing with quality assurance in Vocational Education and Training (VET) and Adult Education (AE) already exists. These projects are seeking solutions for common challenges.
The QALLL project aims to highlight good practice and to put forward recommendations in order to support cooperation in this field. Besides, the project will also be able to identify both immediate priorities for the Lifelong Learning Programme as well as long-term challenges for the next generation of the programme.
