Sustainability of project results

Within the the framework of the QALLL thematic network experts have - of all ‘Lifelong Learning Projects’ that focused on QA in VET and AE (carried out from 2003-09) - selected good practise projects. We asked the respective project contractors to answer a comprehensive questionnaire on the sustainability of their project results and thereby contribute to a better understanding of the usefulness and value of the European Lifelong Learning Programme. 

The questions mainly concerned the efforts to disseminate and exploit the results of Leonardo da Vinci and Grundtvig projects as well as obstacles and challenges project contractors encountered in doing so.

Well planned and well executed dissemination and exploitation ensure that project results have a reach beyond those directly involved in the project consortium as well as an impact that is sustained beyond the project's lifetime.

The results of this survey will be incorporated in a publication on recommendations for project promoters, National Agencies as well as the European Commission for increasing the effectiveness and sustainability of their work.
